The Guardian Tape
In August 1991 a resident near Carp outside Ottawa said a glowing craft came down into a field, and months later an anonymous "Guardian" mailed a researcher a videotape of a lit object on the ground with photographs of a humanoid with a luminous head. The archive records the case as resolved: a staged hoax. Investigator Ian Rogers concluded the tape and photographs were fabricated, and freeze-frames show what looks like a pickup-truck cab and a windscreen wiper.
