The Damon Deputies
Near 11 pm on 3 September 1965 two Brazoria County deputies on Highway 36 near Damon, Texas, said a huge object with a purple light at one end and a blue light at the other came to hover beside their patrol car, and one later said its warmth helped heal an alligator bite on his finger. Project Blue Book interviewed both men and logged the case. This is the record of what they reported, not a verdict on what hung over the highway.
