The Walker's Light at Maffliers
Just after six on the morning of 29 June 2012 a walker near Maffliers in the Val-d'Oise saw a huge white light hanging low over a field. It tilted and left at speed for the clouds. GEIPAN went to the site twice and could not make the rising sun fit. This is the record of what one man reported and how the state's investigators tested it, not a verdict on what hung over the field.
