The Ripperston Farm Encounters

Across 1976 and 1977 the family working Ripperston Farm near Dale in Wales reported a run of encounters: silver-suited figures at the windows, discs over the fields, burnt ground and livestock that would not stay where they were put. A neighbour reported a large silver disc of her own. This is the record of what the family and their neighbour described, not a verdict on what was over that coast.

Ripperston Farm sits near Dale, within sight of St Brides Bay. Over 1976 and 1977 the Combs family, who worked the land, reported a sequence of events rather than a single night. Pauline saw silver and orange balls of light pass the farm and objects go down into the bay. On one occasion a figure in a silver suit stood at her window and stayed for about two hours. The family reported repeated sightings of silver-suited humanoids and of disc-shaped craft, scorched ground described as radioactive, televisions burning out, cars and electrics failing, and cattle turning up in fields they had not been put in. Pauline described a dream of being taken aboard and injected. A neighbour, Josephine Hewison, reported a fifty-foot silver disc.

What is on the record

The archive resolves five claimants from two videos across two channels. There are no documents, no soil analysis and no radiation reading in the file, which matters because the burnt ground and the failed electrics are the only claims here that could in principle have been tested. What survives is family testimony plus one neighbour.

The record is not tidy. The dating covers 1976 to 1977, so this is a period rather than an event, and nothing in the file pins the encounters to particular dates. The surname appears as both Combs and Coombs across the two sources. The figure at the window is seven feet tall in one telling and eight in the other. The accounts also place all of this inside a larger sighting wave in the area that included the Broadhaven school incident, which the archive holds here as context and not as separate corroboration.

Why it sits where it does

The case grades L3, the archive's independent-witness tier, because more than one claimant describes a connected run of events. Its weight is that a working household and a neighbour reported the same kind of thing over two years. What stood at that window is not resolved here.
