The Longley Family Encounter

Under hypnotherapy the Longleys described being taken out of their car by insectoid beings whose faces they compared to hockey masks, then examined and implanted in the toe, the neck and the eye. One telling has them taken aboard a large saucer, with a staple-like device at the neck and a rod at the eye. What they knew at the time was much less. Scott and Wendy Longley were driving with their son and daughter on a road near Casino, between Lismore and Grafton, when bright lights appeared at the front and back of the vehicle. They got home forty-five minutes later than the journey should have taken. The next morning everyone had a cold. The son had strands of bloody mucus, Scott a large blister on his toe and a mark on his neck, and Wendy sore ovaries.

What is on the record

Three videos on one channel carry the account and give four claimants: Scott, Wendy, her son and the daughter. All four sat in the same car, so this is one family's account rather than separate parties describing the same thing.

Everything beyond the lights and the lost time arrived afterwards, over several hypnotherapy sessions in one telling. A local article about UFOs led to the suggestion that hypnotherapy might recover the missing time. Communication with the beings is described as telepathic. Scott went further and recalled being taken at four, eight and fourteen years old as well as on this occasion. The order matters and the file preserves it. The physical complaints came first and the narrative came later, by a route the archive treats as recall method rather than as evidence.

The date is unsettled. The case is filed under 2000, but the archive's current record places it in March 1996, and an earlier version gave 16 March with no year at all. There are no documents in the file.
