UNEXPLAINEDCRAFT
The Pacific Sphere
2019 · Pacific Ocean
WHAT IT IS
A phone records a Navy infrared screen: a dark round object hangs in the reticle just above the sea, then fades into the background.
THE CASE FOR
Transferred to AARO by the Navy's UAP Task Force, one of five clips recorded together in the Pacific in 2019.
THE CASE AGAINST
A hand-held recording of a screen, digitally altered before it reached AARO. The record says only that the object 'loses distinctiveness', not where it went.
WHERE IT STANDS
Unexplained. No identification has been established. The record leaves it open.
