The Charles Hall Tall White Account

Charles Hall says tall pale beings once carried him in the cargo hold of their craft to their own base, to check whether a bruised knee needed surgery. In one telling they then tried to wipe the memory with electronic hypnosis. It failed because he was in pain, so he kept it. Hall served as a weather observer on the ranges north of Las Vegas, a job that put one man alone in open desert for long stretches. His account is unusual in the archive for its duration. Rather than a single night, he describes more than two years of repeated encounters with beings he called the Tall Whites, and a working accommodation with them that he characterises as mutual non-aggression rather than friendship.

What is on the record

Four tellings in three videos across two independent channels, five claimants and no documents. The grade is testimony and everything rests on Hall's own telling. Hall counts once. The other four are American generals, American medical personnel, a figure called Range 4 Harry and one called the teacher. All of them come from a single telling of the knee episode. They are people inside Hall's story rather than witnesses who have spoken for themselves.

He describes the beings as tall and white and physically fragile. They moved between craft and structures that he says the Air Force maintained. He reports learning rules of approach and seeing what he took to be family groups. Another telling has the beings speaking of killing off species that threatened them. One notes his later background in nuclear physics and the plain, unsensational manner of his delivery, which is offered as a reason to take him seriously. That is a judgement about a witness, not evidence about an event, and the archive records it as such.

The obvious difficulty is structural. A two-year claim of routine contact at a working military installation implies many other witnesses. The file names some of them only as roles within his account, and none of them gives an account of their own. No account from outside Hall's own stands beside it.

Why it sits where it does

The case grades L3 because independent channels carry it and five claimants attach to it, not because the claim itself is corroborated. Every one of them comes from Hall's own narrative. The dating spans 1965 to 1967 and the location is recorded at valley level rather than a point. What Charles Hall met in the Nevada desert, if anything, is not resolved here.
