The Gulf of Arabia 'Dual UAP' Clips

Two infrared clips found on a classified network share one uploader's title, "May 05 2020 Gulf of Arabia [CALLSIGN] (Platform) Dual UAP". In the longer one, AARO says, a single area of contrast resolves under higher magnification into several distinct ones that drift in and out of frame. This is the record of what the clips show, not a verdict on what was in them.

◆ THE SHORT VERSION

  • The Gulf of Arabia 'Dual UAP' Clips is a reported UAP case in Persian Gulf (international waters; exact place undisclosed), 5 May 2020.
  • In the longer of two infrared clips, AARO says, a single area of contrast resolves at higher magnification into "multiple distinct areas of contrast" that move in and out of frame.
  • The clips share an uploader's title, "May 05 2020 Gulf of Arabia [CALLSIGN] (Platform) Dual UAP", and AARO says they are not duplicates.
  • AARO found them on a classified network and warns that many such materials "lack a substantiated chain-of-custody".
  • The date, the place and the word "Dual" come only from the uploader; no crew report or explanation accompanies the clips.
  • For this case Fractured Realities holds 2 distinct sources and 2 corroborating primary documents.
  • The archive grades it L1 · SINGLE CHANNEL — it is retold more than once, but everything traces back through one channel.

Counts are resolved totals of what sources say, computed 2026-10-03; the reported details above are claims in the record, not findings. A record of reports, not a verdict on what happened.

Zoom in and one becomes many. In the longer clip the sensor tracks an area of contrast for sixteen seconds and then zooms. "At higher magnification, the area appears as multiple distinct areas of contrast," AARO's description says. For the next minute and a half the sensor zooms in and out, panning to keep those areas in frame as they move in and out of view. At 1:47 they leave at the lower right edge. The last three minutes are empty. The shorter clip runs 30 seconds: the sensor pans to track an area of contrast before "several areas of contrast enter and exit the field-of-view".

What is on the record

Both clips come from the Department of War's second PURSUE release on 22 May 2026. DOW-UAP-PR095 runs 4:49 and DOW-UAP-PR093 runs 30 seconds. AARO notes that they "are not duplicates" but "depict highly similar subject matter". It found them on a classified network while answering a request made on 6 March 2026 by eight members of the House of Representatives, and warns that many of those materials "lack a substantiated chain-of-custody". AARO assesses both as likely from an infrared sensor on a US military platform in the Central Command area in 2020. PR095 was uploaded in May 2020 and PR093 in July.

Everything else comes from the uploader's title. The date, the place and the word "Dual" are the uploader's, and AARO confirms none of them. Its own description speaks of several areas of contrast rather than two. The callsign and platform are bracketed out, and the release poster frame shows only a grey infrared field, a crosshair and black boxes over the on-screen data. No crew report, no narrative and no explanation come with the clips. The page is pinned loosely to the Gulf on the strength of the title.

Why it sits where it does

The clips grade L1. The archive holds two records, both from AARO, and neither names anyone who saw anything, so there is no identified witness. The tier measures sourcing rather than truth. What split apart under the zoom is not resolved here.
