Holloman Air Force Base sits in the New Mexico desert. Attached to it in this archive is a bundle of claims rather than a single event: three craft arriving at dawn, one settling on three pods, a ramp or gangway extending, and beings emerging to shake hands with officers while generals looked on. The dating is unresolved. Sources place the material anywhere between 1953 and 1973. The year most often named is 1954 and the case is filed under 1964. Nothing in the record settles which of them, if any, is the right one.
What is on the record
Nineteen videos across five channels resolve to fourteen claimants. They diverge on nearly every detail. The occupants are described as seven feet tall and Nordic in appearance and one is given an Egyptian-style headdress. Elsewhere they are human-sized greys with pronounced noses in jumpsuits. Some tellings put President Eisenhower at Holloman brokering an agreement. Others describe a polished metallic disc on the flight line with radar ordered off and a parade cancelled. A separate strand has an electrician climbing a pole to watch for Eisenhower's aircraft and instead seeing a pie-tin-shaped craft roughly twenty-five to thirty feet across come within a hundred and fifty feet of him.
That claimant count is not as clean as it looks. Several entries are groups such as the generals present and the base scientists. Much of this is also second-hand. Eric Davis is relaying a conversation with George H. W. Bush and Robert Emenegger is relaying film he says he viewed, so neither is counted. Shartle too is describing film he says he viewed, not a landing he says he attended. That matters, because part of the claimant count is people talking about the same alleged footage rather than independent witnesses to an event.
The archive holds no documents for this case, and no government paperwork supports it. One telling in the file carries the deflation directly: the documentary footage was pulled, the "being" shown was traced to a British Museum statue, and eight seconds of film were traced to an F-4 jet.
Why it sits where it does
Holloman grades L3, testimony from multiple claimants describing one connected story. It does not climb to L4 because no government record carries it. Read the tier as a measure of how many mouths the claim passed through, not as support for it. What happened at Holloman, if anything did, is not resolved here.
