The Silver Dome over Huningue
On the evening of 26 May 1980 two walkers at Huningue on the Rhine watched a metallic object with a silver dome hold still a few hundred metres up for six minutes, then climb into the cloud in steps. One of them was an aircrew flight engineer. This is the record of what the walkers reported and what France's official investigators could check, not a verdict on what hung over the town.
