The Limerick Light Series

In 2009 an Irish family in Limerick reported circular silent lights over their home on more than one night. On the second occasion four colour-changing craft appeared and seven people stood watching them. This is the record of what was reported, not a verdict on what was overhead.

The sightings are set at a family home in Limerick in 2009. The file dates the main event to 10 September, with an earlier sighting on 25 May. The family described circular lights over the garden, fast-moving and silent. On the second night the account grows: four craft appeared, flashing and changing colour, and seven people stood outside watching them. Attempts to record the craft on video are said to have failed.

What is on the record

One telling on one channel, Preston Dennett's, carries the whole file. The archive resolves five claimant entries and not one of them arrives with a name. The woman at the centre of the account is recorded as anonymous, and the rest appear as her mother, two sisters, a brother and two friends. Those entries do add up to the seven watchers the source describes, so the count is coherent; it is just faceless. Five of the seven belong to one household.

Nothing else supports it. There is no photograph, and the telling itself explains why: the lights would not record. There is no physical trace, no investigator's report and no official documentation of any class. What the case rests on is the number of people who say they stood in the same place and watched the same four craft.

Why it sits where it does

Limerick grades L3, multiple independent claimants describing one connected series of sightings, at the testimony evidence grade. The tier is earned on breadth of witnesses, and the breadth here is real but narrow: one family and two friends, reaching the archive by a single route. Nothing documentary stands behind it, so it does not climb. What the record holds is that seven people in Limerick reported the same silent lights across two nights in 2009. What they watched is not resolved here.
