Three women were driving home from a nightclub when bright lights appeared and resolved into a craft with a round or oval base. The car lost power. They followed the object rather than turning away from it, and afterwards they reported what they had seen to the police. The telling notes that they had drunk only Coca-Cola that evening, a detail the account keeps because it answers the first objection anyone raises. An investigator working the case later established that hours were missing from a journey that should have taken a fraction of that.
What is on the record
One channel, one video, three resolved claimants: Valerie, Vivian and a third friend recorded only as having moved to Canada. What lifts this entry above the run of single-channel testimony is a primary document, DEFE/31/191/1 from the Ministry of Defence UFO files at the UK National Archives. That is government paperwork rather than reporting, and it is the reason the case grades where it does.
The limits of what a document like that establishes should be stated. Government files of this kind record that a report was made and handled by the department. They do not confirm the content of the report, and nothing in this entry says the file endorses the women's account.
The abduction material came later and came through hypnotic regression conducted by Harry Harris. Under it the three gave accounts that diverge sharply: robotic metal creatures in one, tall blue-eyed humanoids trying on clothes in another, small black-eyed beings in a third.
