Two Red Orbs in the Backyard

It was about 9.15 pm and the light was already there. Pulling into the driveway, one spouse saw "an intense bright light hovering below the tree line in the middle of their backyard." The other saw it on the security camera and came outside. That spouse described a red sphere about a metre across, a red "brilliant and beautiful" and unlike any seen before. At its centre sat "a white plasma sun" about the size of a basketball. The orb rose and moved left. Then both saw a second, identical orb above the first.

The phone came out as the pair moved off. They travelled west above the trees in silence, moving "in tandem as if they were flying in formation or were tethered together." As they left, one witness saw them merge into a single orb. A few weeks later several white orbs crossed the house from west to east, much higher and each "the size of a dime held at arm's length."

What is on the record

The Department of War released two FBI interview reports and the couple's video on 12 June 2026. FBI-UAP-D009, an FD-302 from a February 2026 video interview, gives the red-sphere account. FBI-UAP-D010 records an in-person interview with the other spouse, who remembers a yellow ball the size of a basketball and a larger one like a beach ball. An agent's note puts them about 30 yards away and 20 to 30 feet up. The same witness describes a red light near power lines in 1987. The video, FBI-UAP-PR004, was shot on an iPhone. The FBI's summary dates it July 2025 and says the orbs went out of sight at about 75 yards.

The FBI rates the couple credible. It places the sighting within 25 miles of the "Triangle Orbs", "Red Orb Rotation" and "Orbs Over the Pond" videos, the area where FBI agents watched lights over a pond in November 2024. Names, the town and the exact date are withheld. The FBI offers no explanation.
