The initial report is short. Elizabeth and Randall Richmond, driving on State Road 24 in the Black Hills in September 1973, saw a fiery red dome-shaped object, and afterwards found an hour missing from the evening. Everything beyond that came later, and came from one person. Working with self-hypnosis rather than a clinician, Elizabeth recalled being levitated in the car into a craft and examined by grey beings. A being she named as Mag told her, she says, that she was a reincarnated extraterrestrial and that two hybrid daughters of hers were aboard. She described an implant placed in her head.
What is on the record
The archive resolves six claimants across two channels and three videos, and the honest reading of that figure is that it does not describe six witnesses to one event. Only the Richmonds are attached to the road sighting. The remaining names come from separate material filed under the same regional canonical: boys on motorbikes who reported a large dark monkey-like creature with a tail in an oil field, with casts taken from the ground, and an unnamed APRO investigator who watched an orange disc work its way along a canyon at night in an area where ranchers had reported heavy cattle losses. Those are different reports about different things.
The archive's dating for the canonical runs across the whole of the 1970s, and the coordinates on file sit some way from the forest named in the location field. Neither is a reason to doubt the Richmonds. Both are reasons to treat the entry as a regional gathering rather than a clean single case. No documents accompany it. The recall method matters too: an hour of missing time is the reported anomaly, and the abduction narrative is what a self-hypnosis session produced afterwards.
Why it sits where it does
It grades L3, resting on testimony from more than one channel with no documentary support. What sits underneath the grade is one couple's report of a light and a gap in the evening. What filled that gap is not resolved here.
