The White Orb on the Feed

In the early hours of 29 October 2025 a US Air Force crew on a counter-ISIS sortie watched a UAP on its sensor feed, described it as "a white round orbit" and tracked it moving at up to 500 mph before losing it. The mission report was released in September 2026 with its location withheld. This is the record of what the crew reported, not a verdict on what it was.

◆ THE SHORT VERSION

  • The White Orb on the Feed is a reported UAP case in Operation Inherent Resolve area (location withheld), 29 October 2025.
  • A crew member said the object on the sensor feed "looked like a white round orbit", and the crew saw it "moving as fast as 500mph" before losing it, according to the mission report.
  • The report logs the observation from 0141Z to 0150Z on 29 October 2025 and enters the object's physical state as "Solid".
  • The released infrared video, per AARO, shows the sensor losing and reacquiring an "area of contrast" several times while an auto-track reticle fails to lock.
  • The location, the observer's name and the observer's own assessment are all withheld in the released report.
  • For this case Fractured Realities holds 2 distinct sources, 2 corroborating primary documents and 1 claimant on its resolved list.
  • The archive grades it L4 · OFFICIAL RECORD — a released government record names who saw it, the top of our scale, though no independent testimony sits beside that record.

Counts are resolved totals of what sources say, computed 2026-10-03; the reported details above are claims in the record, not findings. A record of reports, not a verdict on what happened.

From 0141Z to 0150Z on 29 October 2025 an 11th Attack Squadron crew was on target when a UAP appeared on the feed. A crew member whose identity is redacted "stated it looked like a white round orbit". The wording is the report's own and probably means orb. The crew tracked the object for a period that is also redacted and saw it "moving as fast as 500mph" before losing it near a location of which only the first character, a 3, survives.

The form fields add a little. The aircraft was at about 22,500 feet and the weather had no impact. The object's physical state is entered as "Solid", and there were no effects on persons. The reporting observer was an airman first class. The sortie's background was counter-smuggling, force protection and counter-ISIS work under Operation Inherent Resolve.

What is on the record

The document is a US Central Command mission report, DOW-UAP-D107, from the 11th Attack Squadron of the 432nd Air Expeditionary Wing. It runs to eight pages, was declassified on 8 June 2026 and was published in the Department of War's sixth PURSUE release on 18 September 2026. Withheld are the aircraft type, the location, the observer's name, how long the object was tracked, where it was lost and the field for the observer's own assessment.

The release pairs the report with DOW-UAP-PR133, a 4:58 infrared video. AARO describes the sensor panning and zooming to keep an "area of contrast" centred, losing it and picking it up again several times. An auto-track reticle does not establish a lock, and by the end the object is much smaller in the frame. The clip is shorter than the nine minutes the report covers, so it shows part of the observation at most. The DVIDS caption says the footage came from a platform in 2024. The report dates the event to 29 October 2025, and this page follows the report. Neither the report nor the release offers an explanation.

Why it sits where it does

L4 · OFFICIAL RECORD — a released government record names who saw it. The observer is an airman identified by rank and squadron, with the name withheld. No independent testimony sits beside the report in the archive, and the tier measures sourcing rather than truth. What the crew followed on its feed is not resolved here.
