The Karaganda Starburst

A phone video near Karaganda airport: a brilliant point above the horizon throws rays of light across the night sky.

Filed in an intelligence report on a UAP in the vicinity of Karaganda International Airport.

Nine seconds of cellphone video, digitally altered before upload. Light trails radiating from a bright point can come from a phone's lens and processing, and nothing gives scale or distance.

Disputed. Serious questions remain about how it was made or what it shows, and neither side has settled them.
